Making a Difference to Our Youth
The Ceilidh Cup combines a potent mix of golf, business and music and it only makes sense that we water the roots of those elements so they continue to flourish.
That’s why they’ve chosen to support some great causes like Gordie Sampson’s Songcamp. An amazing project that he and his manager, Sheri Jones, got off the ground a few short years ago. They gathered some of the region’s best and brightest songwriters and musicians so they could hone their skills and deepen their pool of talent through collaboration and hard work next to the sea in beautiful Ingonish. These talented up and comers left their summer camp experience stronger and braver as they continue on with their musical pursuits. You will get to see some of their amazing talents at The Ceilidh Cup opening celebration.
The Ceilidh Cup is a Studio 11 production. Studio 11 is brother/sister team of Paul Birmingham and Leanne Beddow spearheading the management of this event. “We were raised in Bras d’Or, Cape Breton and still call the Island home, spending as much time there as we can. We can’t wait to welcome you to Cape Breton for The Ceilidh Cup, do business there and fall in love with our island.”
