The historic purpose of the Meredith Principles, however, is the \u201cidea that workplace injury was not acceptable, and that Canada\u2019s workers deserved a better way\u201d.<\/span> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IQJd-xFBlfI\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: #444444; line-height: 1.7;\"> A century later, all WCB legislation across Canada follows these principles. Today our provincial WCB Boards and Tribunals are actively involved in supporting workers and employers in return to work mandates.
